I Am Scared Of This

My son went for a kids treetop adventure course last month.

He doesn’t have a fear of heights, so I didn’t really worry about him.

Easy peasy, right?

Just follow the course, step by step… He did it easily enough.

So imagine my surprise when he totally froze at one point.

It was just before the zipline, which was almost the end of the course.

“Come on, Jonas!” I shouted to him. “You’re almost there!”

No movement at all.

Frozen.

“Oh no,” I thought to myself. “How to motivate him to take the leap?”

“You can do it!” the course ranger shouted from below.

“Come on, Jonas!” his friends were shouting from behind him.

Still frozen.

“What are you scared of?” I shouted.

And just in case it was fear of dropping down, I added: “You are safe, you have a harness! Just jump!”

Then he shouted back: “I’ve never done this before!”

That’s when I realised, he didn’t have fear of heights or fear of falling…

But rather, fear of the unknown!

It was his first time, he’d never done something like that before.

So I said:

“If you never try, you’ll never know!!!”

He finally found the courage to jump, and of course, he found it so fun he wanted to do it again.

(Us parents always know it but our kids don’t when they’re in it!). 🤦

Unfortunately, I see this scenario all the time.

But with adults who are similarly stuck on that platform, just before the zipline.

It could be starting a business, or pursuing a dream, either way they’re stuck. Frozen.

Why?

Because Most People Are Scared Of The Unknown!

“I’ve never done this before.”
“I don’t know what to expect.”
“What is it going to be like…”

Don’t let the fear of the unknown hold you back from what might become one of the best experiences of your life.

Trust me, I took the leap, and I fell in love with the experience.

I did it over and over again and ended up starting 4 multi-million businesses.

If you find yourself stuck like my son was…

Not ready to make the jump, let me be your guide.

Let me be the one to tell you, “Never try, never know!”

Join me in my next webinar, and let’s take the leap together!
